jonna hägg works with how all forms of life in nature are interconnected – or rather entangled – in a complex network. it is essential to detach from notions of hierarchy and rigid categories, and realize that there are no clear boundaries nor a center. if you let the gaze penetrate into the depth of the image, the interaction between focus and periphery becomes apparent that there is another nature that speaks to the eye. an effort to see what is actually there, and finally observe and re-learn to observe a time that is passing, and to be receptive of what occurs in the movement´s smallest manifestations.
